Why volunteer with an education foundation?
We have served Wiseburn schools for 25 years and counting. Learn more about our mission, our history, and the district we serve. There are many reasons to volunteer with organizations that support our local schools. Each organization fills vital needs not addressed through state funding or other supports. But we often get the question, what’s the difference between the Wiseburn Education Foundation and the Parent Teacher (Student) Association?
WEF and the PTA/PTSA organizations in Wiseburn collaborate closely with the district to provide a well-rounded, high-quality education for all students. WEF focuses on supporting educators and programs for all students districtwide, and the PTA/PTSA pays for material resources and specialized projects at each school site.
Both organizations have our unique specialties and welcome involvement from our community. Together, we all invest in the future of our children and community!
